This is a set of exemplar materials that we have produced to show how teaching about the way in which the work of artists, musicians and scientists differs in the way that it can and should be interpreted.

We have adopted a format for these materials which provides teachers with guidance on how to use them, with classroom resources in the form of student information and activities.

The classroom resources are available in an editable form (Word documents) to enable teachers to adapt them for their own classrooms.
